WASHINGTON, Aug 3 — The plea deals with the alleged mastermind of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and two other defendants have been withdrawn, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Friday, reported German news agency (dpa).

WASHINGTON,  Aug 1 — The man accused of masterminding the September 11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and two of his accomplices, held at the US military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have agreed to plead guilty, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.
